This week we were reflecting on the miracle that has happened in our family this month. Keith has been looking for a job for several months and so at the beginning of the month we had a special fast for him so that he could find a job. He and Cherie had been praying for a raise that he had not had since they moved to Connecticut...then he lost his job. I knew somehow this trial would turn out to be a blessing for them. Even though it was a difficult thing to go through with a just bought new house and a just new baby, it turned out to be the best thing for their family in the end.
This was also a testimony of tithing. Cherie called to say that she had paid her tithing with little left over for necessities. The Lord responded by opening the windows of heaven. Keith had 3 job interviews that week and a job offer soon followed. He began work last week and even had Thanksgiving and a bonus day off to spend with his family. Their family has surely been blessed and we are grateful for that blessing.
